Symphony for the Senses: A Harmonious Evening of Cuisine and Music (Friday)

What happens when you create something new? A composer might hear a brilliant piece of music. A chef may taste a marvellous new dish. Both use creative expression and the manipulation of various elements to evoke emotions in those who experience it. Both create a symphony for the senses. During this magical evening, we will explore this dynamic in an immersive dining experience, inspired by music from classical to contemporary.

Just an orchestra is made up of a variety of instruments; each with their own unique sounds and capabilities, a dish is made up of ingredients, each with their own unique characteristics. A chef, just like a composer, must understand how to use ingredients to create a harmonious and cohesive final product. Musicians perform music for audiences, and chefs prepare meals for diners, but both want to provide a sense of enjoyment and satisfaction for their guests. A concert can tell a story, create a sense of wonder or transport the listener to another place, and a meal can evoke memories or take us away from ourselves, just for a moment. Independently, the result is something beautiful and enjoyable but which does not linger. Our evening will be different.

During this completely unique experience, we will combine sound, sight, touch, taste and scent, as we create lasting memories through a multisensory experience. With each course, inspired by a piece of music, we invite you to close your eyes, and imagine with us.

Our in-person event will be held at the NutriFit/Txoko USA private dining room in west LA. Attendees will be seated and waited upon for all courses while Jackie and Oscar walk you through each course and live-stream for our virtual attendees.

Virtual attendees will receive their kits delivered the morning of January 27 . Tickets begin at $119.95/person for our local delivery area (Los Angeles/Orange Counties). Nationwide shipping is also available.
